Remove thermometer by inserting spatula into the side tabs and lift on or off. Make sure to use a BBQ or oven mitt when using. For best results, wash & dry by hand. 50°-600°F (25°C-300°C).

Attached to oven rack wires fine. Accuracy matches 2 other oven thermometers within 5-10 degrees (don’t know which ones are correct). Redesign should include bigger numbers. It can be read from about 30″ away, but through the oven window it is difficult if it is in the back.

If you grill a lot this is a handy gadget to have. Knowing the surface temp your grilling on helps you get consistent results time after time. It’s also useful for spotting temp variations. This one seems fairly accurate and does the job.

This grill surface thermometer does its job just like it is supposed too. I have owned it for about 2 years and it has seen many uses on the gas and charcoal grills. It has a color coded face so you can easily see if you have the heat high enough to sear or if you are staying withing the idea grilling zone. It also has notches on the face which allow you to insert a spatula to remove it. All in all….I am impressed with the accuracy and durability of this product.

I pre-heated my BBQ grill on high with this thermometer on the surface. When I came back a few minutes later the needle was off the chart and the shiny new silver was a dull and stained brown. I guess it’s a cheap version of a thermometer.
